Dreamed I was a butterfly

[The journal starts taping by mid conversation, just audio]

... yes, it's a very nice Welcome Center, but it doesn't really say 'Welcome'. A few pillows and cushions might, actually, or a nice chaise. Or maybe some pastries so that we poor, hungry visitants who just arrived might eat something.

And something to drink! Really, that should be a number one priority. Even something soothing like a nice cup of tea would be an even nicer way to say 'Welcome to Miracle Country!' than just your adorable faces.

[There is some polite giggling from the receptionists. Yuuko sighs, also amused before she starts writing]

Ah, dearest journal, I see the cheetah never changes its spots, don't you? But since my journal decided to record that, people, don't you think that some appetizers would help a lot into coming back into this world?

[No, there's no gasp, nor screams, nor anything out of the ordinary. There's only Yuuko leaning over her chaise, smoking her pipe. NOT drinking, although the bottle of sake is nearby.]

[THERE IS A GROAN. NO, NOT A HAPPY GROAN. IT'S A GROAN THAT SEEMS TO CAPTURE ALL THE UNHAPPINESS, ALL THE PAIN, ALL THE MISERY OF THE WORLD.

IT IS THE GROAN OF EVERY SMALL CHILDREN AS THEY HAVE TO GET READY FOR THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. IT IS THE GROAN OF THOSE WHO REALIZE THEIR DREAMS WILL NEVER COME TRUE.

... IT IS ALSO THE GROAN OF THOSE WHO ARE SO, SO HUNGOVER THAT BLINKING HURTS.]

[Pretty much felt the instant Eriol and Yuekito disappeared from Kiseki, Eriol especially since she felt the barrier shift.

Since the arm she broke is her leading arm, have an audio]

There'll be a need to strengthen the patrols around the hotel as of now. The barrier is still standing, but it won't be as strong.

[So have another accidental video as Yuuko takes of her shirt at the beach (of course she has a bikini underneath), not really paying attention to the journal as she pretty much flops under an umbrella with a drink by her side]

[There's a bit of movement since the video starts before Yuuko leaves the journal on a desk. Then she's moving towards the window, holding one of her arms, and looking through the window, her expression serious.

Then the video ends]

[Video. Accidental? Maybe, maybe not. Yuuko is sitting on a bench at the park and she seems to write something on a sheet of paper, and then she's folding it into a butterfly origami.

Once she's done, she blows gently on the paper wings and the butterfly goes up fluttering up into the sunset.]

Once upon a time, wasn't it?

At the very least, it is a beautiful sunset.

[Yuuko and Mokona are at the park. With the way Yuuko is sitting it's not completely clear what she's doing, but she seems to be mixing something, Mokona's excited voice asking if it's ready.]

Almost, almost... there!

[Mokona cheers, grabing a plastic straw, Yuuko leaning back on the bench so that Mokona can make soap bubbles.

Yuuko goes to grab the journal, taking notice that it recorded... and she smiles at it.]

... well, no harm done, isn't it?

[So she allows the record to go on for a few more moments as Mokona makes more bubbles]

Hmm...

I think that I'm in the mood for red velvet chocolate cake with strawberries, vanilla ice cream and some nice brandy.

[Accidental Audio]

[There is a groan, but it's not any kind of groan, oh no. This is a groan of sheer and abject pain like mankind has never known before. It speaks of pain and misery and suffering, it is a groan that shall be remembered for eternity.

Also, the mood is a hint about why there is groaning]
